What is a Recovery Coach?
A Recovery Coach is a trained professional with lived or learned experience in mental health. We work alongside you, your family, carers, and other services to help you understand your NDIS plan, connect with the right supports, and stay on track with your recovery goals.
Unlike traditional support coordination, Recovery Coaching places a strong focus on mental health and wellbeing. It’s about seeing the whole person — your strengths, values, and aspirations — not just the challenges.
Your Recovery Coach can support you to:
Develop a personalised recovery plan based on your goals and values
Build confidence, independence, and everyday living skills
Strengthen relationships with family, friends, and support networks
Connect with the right mental health services and community supports

Recovery Coaching is designed for NDIS participants with psychosocial disabilities. This may include challenges linked to conditions such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, PTSD, and others. We also work with families and carers, supporting them to understand your recovery journey and be active partners in building a stronger future.
